 "description": "The layers containedhere are used to facilitate web map services for the Irrigation District WaterQuality (IDWQ) Tool web mapping application. Layers include irrigation districtwater quality measurement sites and data, and basic infrastructure linework.This project is a partnership between Agriculture and Agri-food Canada, AlbertaAgriculture and Irrigation and Alberta\u2019s Irrigation Districts. The IDWQ tool, tomeasures the quality of water in Alberta\u2019s Irrigation Districts. Funding forthis project has been provided by Canada Alberta Water Supply ExpansionProgram, Alberta\u2019s Irrigation Rehabilitation Program and Alberta IrrigationDistricts. Four different types of sites are monitored: Environment andProtected Areas (EPA) formerly Alberta Environmental Protection (AEP) \u2013sites on government owned infrastructure where water is diverted from a riverand delivered to an irrigation district. \u201cPrimary\u201d (P) site names \u2013 referto sites on main canals where source water enters an irrigation district. \u201cSecondary\u201d(S) site names refer to sites located on lateral canals that branch off the maincanals or are immediately downstream of mid-district reservoirs and \u201cReturn\u201d R \u2013site names refer to sites at the end of irrigation district infrastructurewhere the unused irrigation water returns to the river",
