Terms of Use for ACIMS Data Requests
The Alberta Conservation Information Management System (ACIMS) only provides detailed location data upon request based on a demonstrated need. Any data that ACIMS shares must only be used for the specific project that is identified in the section "Request Details" (the "Specified Project").
Your request to ACIMS will only be considered if:
you provide rationale indicating why location data are needed;
you provide the project name and details regarding the Specified Project for which the data is required; and
you agree that data supplied by ACIMS will be used only for the Specified Project.
ACIMS may not be able to complete all requests for information.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The data provided in response to an ACIMS Data Request are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied, including but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or other violation of rights. The Government of Alberta will not be liable for any direct, indirect, special, punitive, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of, or the inability to use, the data provided by ACIMS.

Data provided in response to an ACIMS Data Request may not be copied and/or distributed for commercial or non-commercial purposes without prior written permission from epa.acimsdata@gov.ab.ca. If permission is granted, we only ask that:
the materials not be modified,
users exercise due diligence in ensuring the accuracy of the materials,
the Government of Alberta be identified as the source of the materials, and
the reproduction is not represented as an official version of the materials reproduced, nor as having been made in affiliation with or with the endorsement of the Government of Alberta.
