Groupings start from the southeast corner of each meridian, pairing townships northward and ranges westward. Fields include the Group ID, meridian, township and range group numbers, and the PID and descriptor for each of the four constituent townships (NE, NW, SE, SW). Used as the spatial reporting unit for the Alberta Insect Pest Monitoring Network to aggregate trap count and annual survey data. |
