Service Description: This map service provides point locations representing issued or refused Reclamation Certificates for applicable activities in Alberta.  A Reclamation Certificate confirms that land previously used for an applicable activity has been reclaimed to meet regulatory requirements under provincial legislation.  This service supports public transparency by allowing users to view where Reclamation Certificates have been issued or refused, and the associated authorization details.  Update Frequency Data is updated weekly to reflect newly issued Reclamation Certificates and status changes.  Data Stewardship Data Owner: Ministry of Environment and Protected Areas (EPA) Program Area: Digital Regulatory Assurance System (DRAS) Technical Steward: Alberta Geospatial Services Platform (AGSP)  Data Limitations Locations are represented as point features and may not reflect the full spatial extent of the reclaimed area. Partial reclamation certificates may be present; authorizations remain open until a full certificate is issued. Authorization holder names reflect the legal approval holder at time of issuance. This service is designed for use within the Environmental Records Viewer (ERV) available at https://geospatial.alberta.ca/erv This service is maintained by the Alberta Environment and Protected Areas and is provided for informational purposes only.
