Service Description: This map service provides visual representation of the data collected by Alberta Environment and Protected Areas of applications and authorizations for Approvals and Code of Practices (CoP) under the Water Act in Environmental Records Viewer (ERV). The data visually represented includes the following: applications in received and decision complete status for activities regulated under an approval or a code of practice. authorizations in active and inactive status for activities regulated  under an approval or code of practice. Alberta Environment and Protected Areas collects this information under the following sections of the Water Act: Approvals - Section 37(1) and 42(2); Water (Ministerial) Regulation: Approval exemptions subject to Code – Section 3. The information collected under the Act may be disclosed under Section 15 of the Water (Ministerial) Regulation.
