Service Description: Alberta FireSmart Community Zones and Crown Land Reservations service includes the polygons designed to provide users with a representation of the FireSmart Community Zones and the FireSmart Crown Land Reservations for the province of Alberta.FireSmart Community Zones (FSCZ) outline boundaries within the Province of Alberta’s Forest Protection Area where debris disposal must be conducted in accordance with the "Debris Management Standards for Timber harvest Operations".FireSmart Crown Land Reservations (FCLR) are intended to support community FireSmart planning and increase resiliency to future wildfire threats to the community. These FCLR’s trigger a notification to Alberta Government Wildfire Prevention Staff who will review the application and assess how the proposed disturbance will align with community FireSmart objectives. The FCLR"s were formerly known as Consultative Notations (CNT).
