Service Description: Alberta Wildfire - Basemap Labels service includes the points, lines and polygons designed to provide users with a representation of primary provincial base map Labels only, which includes all the population centres, complete road network, hydrographic features, and Federal Land which includes the national parks, Métis Settlements, Indian Reserves, air weapons range and military bases for the province of Alberta required for Wildfire Applications.The population centres include the points for Labeling the City, Town, Village, Summer Village, Urban Service Area, Hamlet, Populated Locality and Rural Subdivision.The complete road network include the lines for Labeling all of the 20K, 150K, 250K, 1M, 2M and 5M roads and for Labeling the Major Roads for the 20K, 1M, 2M and 5M roads.The hydrographic features include the lines and polygons for Labeling all the lakes, reservoirs, rivers, canals, streams, creeks and many other water features.The national parks include the points for Labeling Banff, Jasper, Wood Buffalo, Elk Island and Waterton National Parks.The Métis settlement, Indian Reserve, Cold Lake Air Weapons Range and Military Bases include the points for Labeling.
