Service Description: Fire Bans - Forestry Fire Control Orders Service containing the polygons designed to provide the Alberta Fire Bans site with a representation of all Fire Control Orders within the Forest Protection Area; which include the Forest Area Closures, Fire Bans, Fire Restrictions, Fire Control Base for all possible Forest Area Fire Advisories, Custom Forestry Fire Advisories and the Off Highway Vehicle (OHV) Restrictions for the province of Alberta. This service also includes the simplified versions of all data for small scale mapping and Provincial scale mapping. This data is used for the Alberta Fire Bans site to display the Fire Control Orders that affect the areas under the Forest Protection Area jurisdiction, please refer to the Alberta Fire Bans site for full representation, description and contact information for all Fire Control Orders for the province of Alberta.
