Service Description: Mutual Aid Contact Zone Service includes the polygons designed to provide users with a representation of the zones for which Forest Area's Fire Centre is to be contacted with respect to requesting aid from Alberta Wildfire on a wildfire for each Municipal District/County, Specialized Municipality, Special Area, or Improvement District outside of the Forest Protection Area (FPA) when Mutual Aid is required.Mutual Aid is when Alberta Wildfire assists with suppression in areas outside the legislated FPA or inside urban boundaries within the FPA.The requesting agency; Municipal District/County, Specialized Municipality, Special Area, or Improvement District, will use the Mutual Aid Contact Zone Service to determine which Forest Area's Fire Centre to call based on which zone the wildfire location falls under. The attributes for the Mutual Aid Contact Zone contains the contact information; Fire Centre, Forest Area and phone number.
