Description: This layer represents the ploygon labels for the Alberta Township System (ATS) Index polygon compiled by Spatial Data Warehouse Ltd. (SDW), on behalf of the Government of Alberta visible between the scales of 1:866,685 to 1:13,542. The ATS v4.1 Polygons - Township Index polygon layer contains polygons that represent the location of Township polygons, derived from the Master Alberta Township System points file published as ATS Version 4.1, dated March 31, 2005, and is clipped to an updated Spatial Data Warehouse Ltd. (SDW) created version of the Alberta provincial boundary. No road allowance segments are included in this layer. This layer is not visible beyond the scale of 1:866,685. Labels are managed with Label Manager in the following label classes where label symbology is determined by the following visible scale ranges: 1) 1:866,685 to 1:577,791 2) 1:577,790 to 1:433,343 3) 1:433,342 to 1:288,895 4) 1:288,894 to 1:216,672 5) 1:216,671 to 1:108,336 6) 1:108,335 to 1:72,225 7) 1:72,224 to 1:54,168 8) 1:54,167 to 1:27,084 9) 1:27,083 to 1:13,542 Data Use Limitations Use of the information will be governed by the terms of the Open Government Licence - Alberta, in force as of the date the user accesses the information.
