Description: This layer represents the Rangeland Working Zone label. The layer is not visible beyond the scale of 1:6,933,486 with its symbology display controlled with Label Manager containing Label Classes using View Optimized Scale ranges. The Rangeland Working Zone dataset is comprised of all the polygons that represent the Alberta Environment and Parks Rangeland Working Zones in Alberta. A Rangeland Working Zone is an administrative area designated by the Department of Alberta Environment and Parks in which grazing and other agricultural uses related to public land are managed by regional branch offices. The boundaries are used to ensure referrals are sent to the correct locations. The Rangeland Working Zone was formerly known as Alberta Environment and Parks Rangeland District. The Rangeland Working Zone dataset provides users with GIS ready polygonal representation of all the Rangeland Working Zones in the province of Alberta, and is suitable for indexing or analysis purposes.
