The Alberta Environment and Parks Federal Order dataset provides the general public, industrial operators and Government of Alberta information regarding the exterior extent locations of species identified under Government of Canada Emergency Orders in Alberta. The Environment and Parks Federal Order dataset is comprised of exterior extent polygons of species that have been identified in species specific Government of Canada Emergency Orders. The exterior extent polygons are derived from the detailed data provided in each of the Government of Canada Emergency Order datasets within the Scope of Alberta. Government of Canada Scope of Emergency Orders for which extent polygons have been derived and represented in the Federal Order dataset include: Scope of Emergency Order for the Protection of the Greater Sage-Grouse (Centrocercus urophasianus urophasianus) in Canada - Alberta, reproduced with the permission of the Government of Canada.
