The Lake Label (20K) layer represents Lake labels for Alberta Environment and Parks base hydrography polygon dataset, and is comprised of a seamless, provincial extent of hydrography polygon features collected from various sources of provincial base and resource map based data and some federal topographic data for labeling purposes.
This dataset provides users with a full provincial extent, GIS ready, hydrography polygon base data layer to support business applications and decision making related to water bodies and major watercourses for the province of Alberta.
