This layer represents the Base Hydrography Stream and Flow Representation Update which provides users with an update of hydrography SLNET base data layer to support business applications and decision making related to water course features.
The Single Line Network (SLNET) layer was designed to provide users with a connected network of single line hydrography.
The Base Hydrography Single Line Hydrography Network (SLNET) is an Alberta Environment and Parks base SLNET data set, updated from the Base Features HydroSLNET in southern Alberta using orthophoto and various sources of provincial base data.
The layer contains all of the captured single line representations of hydrographic features, along with single line representations of polygonal features and single line arbitrary network connectors.
This layer is not visible out beyond the scale of 1:6,933,486.
