Description: This layer represents the Base Hydrography Update Stream and Flow Representation - River/Creek Label with the named stream and flow representation labels based on the attribute, NAME, within the attribute table.
The Base Hydrography Update Stream and Flow Representation provides users with an update of hydrography SLNET base data layer to support business applications and decision making related to water course features.
The Single Line Network (SLNET) layer was designed to provide users with a connected network of single line hydrography.
The Base Hydrography Single Line Hydrography Network (SLNET) is an Alberta Environment and Parks base SLNET data set, updated from the Base Features HydroSLNET in southern Alberta using orthophoto and various sources of provincial base data.
It contains all captured single line representations of hydrographic features. In addition, single line representations of polygonal features and single line arbitrary network connectors are in the file.
This layer is not visible beyond the scale of 1:433,342 with the label symbology controlled through the Label Manager with nine (9) label classes of scale ranges set according to the table of Standard View Optimized Scales found in the map service development specifications.
