This layer represents the Base Hydrography Polygon Update which provides users with an update of hydrography polygon base data layer to support business applications and decision making related to water bodies and major water courses in Alberta.
The Base Waterbody Polygon Update is an Alberta Environment and Parks base hydrography polygon dataset, updated from the Base Features Hydro Polygons in southern Alberta using orthophoto and various sources of provincial base data.
This layer is not visible out beyond the scale of 1:6,933,486.
