Service Description: This map service contains the Parks and Protected Areas of Alberta provided for use by GoA staff, and the general public.Boundaries have been interpreted from written legal descriptions appended to Orders-in-Council.In case of discrepancy between the GIS data and the written legal description, the written legal description shall take precedence.Protected Area boundaries represent sites administered by Alberta Parks, Government of Alberta within the province of Alberta.
