Service Description: The Environment and Parks (AEP) Wildlife Referrals Boundaries comprise of polygons that represent working areas of Wildlife Biologists and Technicians within the Province of Alberta. The dataset is to help Government of Alberta Staff, academia, consultants and the public who are involved in planning industrial and land use activities and need local wildlife information, or a Wildlife Research Permit or Wildlife Collection License. Working area boundaries adhere to Wildlife Management Unit (WMU) Boundaries and other ground features within the province of Alberta. Changes to this layer should be directed to both the Data Custodian (AEP Senior Wildlife Biologists), and the Data Owner (Basemapping.GDB). Please read the Terms of Use, Distribution Liability section, before attempting to share this information externally.
